Amber to make her NASCAR Pinty’s Series Debut at Delaware Speedway
August 30, 2023 – Brimstone Games announces sponsoring Amber Balcaen in her NASCAR Pinty’s Series debut. Balcaen will drive the #11 NASCAR Pinty’s car for DJ Kennington at Delaware Speedway on September 24th.
Brimstone Games and Glen Mcloed and Son’s Trucking will be Balcaen’s primary sponsors for this race.
“I’ve always wanted to race in the NASCAR Pinty’s series. Being from Winnipeg, it only makes sense to make a go at the Canadian NASCAR Series! ” explains Balcaen. “I’ve been grateful to compete in the USA for the majority of my racing career but I know racing in Canada will be really meaningful. It’s an amazing feeling having two Canadian sponsors backing me for this race!”
Balcaen, from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, is an established name in the racing world. Known for her skill on track so much as her notable personality. She comes from a racing family, making her a third generation driver. With a goal of reaching the pinnacle of NASCAR, Balcaen has proved herself to be a rising talent in motorsport having already become the first Canadian woman to procure a win in a NASCAR sanctioned race.
Balcaen comes to DJ Kennington Racing this season following her starts in the ARCA Menards series and NASCAR Advanced Autoparts series.
“I know how important it is to be with a good team in racing, and I know I’m in really good hands with DJ Kennington. I’m hoping my experience in both ARCA and asphalt late models will help me adapt to the Pinty’s cars. I know the competition is going to be stiff but I still expect a good showing from myself. The goal is to have a solid competitive run.”
The NASCAR Pinty’s Series race at Delaware won’t be the only race she will be completing in this month.
Balcaen was set to make her Ontario Sportsman Series debut last July with Hryniuk Hall Motorsports until rain ultimately cancelled the race. The team was impressed with Balcaen enough to invite her back for another race in the OSS series September 15th.
Known by many as being “the underdog of NASCAR,” Balcaen, armed with a business degree, has worked tirelessly to secure her own sponsorship deals. She is eager to expand on her successes in Canada’s NASCAR Pinty’s series.
Balcaen will be making her debut with DJ Kennington at Delaware Speedway on September 24th. The race will begin at 4:30pm EST and will be viewable on TSN and RDS.
